“ 1st of all let me say that all things in this review are relevant to cost. I arrived at 9am on a cold winters day. I wanted a warming coffee and a full English to set me up for the day. I received a very warm welcome and in invite to sit next to the fire. I ordered my coffee and breakie for the grand sum of 8quid. I was given lots of choices on my breakie. I didn't have high expectations for 8 Coffee was instant but NOT a cheap tasting brand that was completely unpalatable. The breakie was a good quality and certainly fulled me for a full day out in the cold. If you were expecting boutique food you would be mightily disappointed but for the money I was impressed. The cafe itself was a little tired but felt very homely. I would definitely make a beeline for the Cottage Cafe if in the area but wouldn't make a big detour to visit. ”
“ Best breakfast around. Hot and no problem if you want to alter anything. Friendly staff and beautiful gardens out the back ”
“ Best breakfast, very tasty and hot. Would definitely recommend Lovely gardens, friendy staff, pleasant atmosphere ”
“ A fine breakfast. Definitely worth a visit just for crispy potatoes on their own. Everytjing else is good also, but you don't get crispy potatoes everywhere ”
“ Old fashioned style place with a fire in the second room The traditional breakfast was great too. ”
“ Best cooked breakfast around, quick service and great price! ”
“ Driven past many times, so I'm so glad I popped in. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Good choice on the menu. Very reasonable prices. Breakfast was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The open fire made it very comfy. Glad I did pop in. Will definitely be going in again. Would recommend. ”
“ We came for the first time today for two full English breakfasts and a large pot of tea and it was delicious! Fabulous sized portions, fast service and the fire was on too, so very cosy for a very wet morning. At 16 for two you can’t fault it! The ladies would prefer cash payment, so if you can that would be handy but they do have the card machine too. We will definitely be back again, thank you! ”
